Enjoy spring and summer exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery for as little as £1

Every Saturday evening from 17.30 to 21.00 and Sunday morning from 10.30 to 12.00, visitors can Pay What You Wish, and enjoy entry to our exhibitions for a minimum payment of £1. Tickets can be booked in advance online, on the phone or in person for exhibitions The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure, Francesca Woodman and Julia Margaret Cameron: Portraits to Dream In and Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens.

£5 tickets for 25s and under are also available every day for The Time is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure — supported by Bank of America. £5 tickets for 25s and under are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for Francesca Woodman and Julia Margaret Cameron: Portraits to Dream In and Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens.

Visitors can also attend talks and events on Saturday evenings while enjoying our later opening hours at the Gallery’s shops, Larry’s Bar and The Portrait Restaurant.
